MAKEUP & HAIRWelcome to the HAIR AND MAKEUP section of LawrencePitonza.com. Growing up in an artistic family, fortunately, I was able to convert my motherÍs disability into my own ability. I started doing hair and makeup when I was very young because I needed to pick out hair, makeup, and clothing colors for my mom. It was my job to choose the look she would need for her various business ventures.

I was trained partially by my great grandmother, who was a Martha Harper Graduate in the early 1900Ís. Martha Harper was a celebrity hairdresser who worked with the elite. My great grandmother made sure I had the confidence to color and cut hair and apply makeup for our entire family. This skill propelled me into the fashion and beauty world, which opened many doors for my career. I then learned that I could apply my sculpting techniques to hair and makeup, and use them to do special effects, wig creations, prosthetics, prop design, stage design, costume design, and more. So my talents with hair and makeup initiated my development into all these fields. As you click the categories to your left, enjoy the different areas and pages.
